This year has been especially challenging for Sri Murugan Temple that relies on these events and community donations for its operation. The event typically attracts around 50 participants and enjoyed by more than 200 hundred audiences. Thai Pongal cultural show has played an important role for fund raising through donations and tickets sales. Likewise, it was heartening to see our young talents showcasing their interest and love for our Tamil language, heritage, and culture. Idols of Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are also placed inside the temple.
